BIRTH - Venus ORIGIN

Part of the ZROZENÍ collection called ORIGIN is the original
and also the first jewelry collection that was created in my workshop.
It is based on my work that was created in my first year
at university.

The assignment was to create a ring on the theme of ME.
There were many possible ways and approaches to respond to this theme. I chose the beauty of femininity as my main inspiration.
I realized that I am first and foremost a woman and I love it very much. In the history of art, inspiration by a woman or women is very common. We can come across stories that celebrate women
and others that denigrate them.

For my work, I chose a woman who has inspired artists for thousands of years. That woman is the mythical Venus, who, according to legend, was born
from sea foam. For me, Venus is the embodiment of tenderness and beauty. I think that her essence is in each of us.
